Therapy Across Borders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation focused on enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities, their families, and communities of need around the world through access to therapy services (occupational, speech, physical), education, and advocacy. Through collaboration and partnership with organizations, universities, and clinicians in both the United States and foreign countries, we are committed to developing a sustainable program for local communities in the areas we serve.
Therapy Across Borders began with a dream and an incredible African adventure in 2018, as part of an Occupational Therapy Doctoral Residency. Jennifer and Jackie fell in love with Kenya, the culture, and the people, but quickly saw a need for access to therapy services (occupational, speech, and physical) for many individuals with disabilities. Jennifer returned to Kenya 3 months later and the organization was born. Jackie and Jennifer have poured their hearts into TAB and hope you will join them on this incredible journey!
To support access to therapy services (occupational, speech, and physical therapy) to individuals with disabilities in communities of need around the world.
To empower individuals with disabilities and their communities through the provision of therapy services, interdisciplinary collaboration, education, and advocacy around the world.
